Cartier Privé Tortue watch, mechanical movement with manual winding 430 MC. Platinum 950/1000 case, faceted crown set with a ruby cabochon, silvered opaline dial, rhodium-finish Roman numeral hour markers, rhodium-finish apple-shaped hands. Semi-matte red alligator leather strap, with platinum 950/1000 ardillon buckle. Case dimensions: 41.4 x 32.9 mm, thickness: 7.2 mm. Hours, minutes. Movement with 18 rubies. Movement diameter 9''' (20.5 mm), thickness 2.15 mm, balance wheel: 21,600 vibrations/hour, power reserve approx. 38 hours. Water-resistant up to 3 bar (approx. 30 metres). Limited edition of 200 numbered pieces.

About the Collection

Pioneering designer Louis Cartier imagined a tortoise-inspired watch, the Tortue, in 1912. At a time when all watches were round, the groundbreaking design went on to earn the status of a classic.
