Acquired by Pierre Cartier in 1917, the Mansion embodies Cartier’s uncompromising attention to detail and dedication to fine construction. A cornerstone of New York sophistication, the Cartier Fifth Avenue Mansion became a favourite of renowned figures such as Grace Kelly, Andy Warhol, and Elizabeth Taylor. After embarking on a meticulous restoration project in 2014, this legendary structure is now open.

    In 1917, Pierre Cartier traded a pearl necklace valued at $1 million for a Mansion on Fifth Avenue. As a tribute to the legendary trade, a natural pearl necklace inspired by the original was created in 2016. The new pearl necklace is on display at the newly renovated Cartier Fifth Avenue Mansion.
