Seoul, Deoksugung National Museum

The Deoksugung National Museum, located in a historic park in Seoul city centre, is part of the prestigious Museum of Contemporary Art. This latest reincarnation of The Art of Cartier exhibition occupied two entire floors of the museum. Documents and drawings from the archives were afforded spacious rooms, and for the first time a space was dedicated to the expertise of the Maison’s ateliers. The exhibition also launched a cycle of conferences on the jeweller’s expertise, of special interest to students of art history.
